How your goods travel

From the choice of Incoterm to the container type, this page explains what we handle, what you handle and how long it takes.

Incoterms in plain language

The Incoterm defines where our responsibility ends and yours begins. The bar shows how far we carry the goods and the risk.

EXW
Goods ready at origin warehouse. You arrange everything from there. Lowest price, most work for you.
FOB
We clear export and load the container on the vessel at the port of origin. You pay sea freight and insurance.
CFR
As FOB, plus we book and pay the sea freight to your port. Risk passes to you once loaded.
CIF
As CFR, plus marine insurance in your name. The most common term for our Gulf and African buyers.
DAP
We deliver to your named warehouse. You handle import duties and clearance. Least work for you.

Typical transit times

Sea freight from Jebel Ali or Mersin, port to port, in days. Air freight is available for perishables and samples.
